A decade ago, Ubuntu Mundo set out with a clear mission: to ensure that vulnerable children in rural South Africa receive the nutrition they need to survive, learn, and grow. Today, marked by 10 years of dedication, we have served over 900,000 hot, nutritious meals, feeding 1,500 children daily.
But meeting today’s hunger isn't enough—Ubuntu Mundo is building a self-sustaining engine for tomorrow.
This year marks a major milestone in our journey toward self-sustainability. Ubuntu Mundo has expanded onto new, larger farmland dedicated to growing sweet peppers for commercial markets.
This isn't just an agricultural project—it’s an economic bridge:
100% Mission-Driven: Every pepper harvested and sold directly, funds our after-school feeding programs.
Job Creation: Our projects generate much-needed employment in a region where unemployment and economic hardship remain severe.
Sustainable Future: By generating commercial revenue, we reduce long- term dependency on short-term aid, ensuring that feeding programs for thousands of children remain secure year after year.
