Hi everyone! My name is Merijn, 23 years old, Dutch but raised around the world. I’m finishing my master’s in marketing here in Amsterdam and wanted to challenge myself with something new: running a half marathon. But it’s not just about me. Having seen a lot of the world, I wanted this to be for something bigger too. So I’m running the Amsterdam Half Marathon on 18 October for Ubuntu Mundo, who support children in South Africa and help make sure they get proper meals, something we take for granted here.
