About Ubuntu Mundo
There’s something magical about childhood. It is a time of fearlessness, when children play with abandon and exude pure joy. Sadly, in rural South Africa, children face chronic food insecurity, negatively impacting their well-being and limiting their opportunities in life.

Ubuntu Mundo supports the joy of childhood by feeding children every day.

Ubuntu Mundo was formed to feed children and has developed a model for sustainable solutions for childhood hunger – nutritious meals served within the community coupled with a commercial farming enterprise that supports the operations. We stay focused on food, both to improve the lives of the children in our region and to generate revenue to fuel our programs.

Feeding children has both immediate and long-term benefits, improving health, school performance and therefore future opportunity. Benefits go further than the children themselves, improving the financial health of families and creating jobs that uplift the entire community.

We don’t just deliver meals—we build systems that nourish, empower, and endure.

We are feeding 1,000 children every day and with your help we can do more.
