We have provided grants that have helped Ubuntu Mundo build kitchens, buy equipment, and supply food for the meals they prepare. Now, we are excited to support their creation of a social enterprise -- a commercial farm that will create jobs and generate revenue to sustain their growing feeding program. We believe deeply in their approach of creating an economic engine to fund their vital work of feeding vulnerable children.

All funding decisions are made by the Board of Friends of Ubuntu Mundo, consistent with its mission. It is a public charity recognized as tax-exempt by the IRS under Section 501(c)(3). It is an independent fundraising and grant-making organization, and all grants made by it to Ubuntu Mundo are for specific projects that Friends of Ubuntu Mundo confirms are in furtherance of our shared mission of feeding vulnerable children.
